Surgeons are renowned for their precision in an operating theatre, but what role does precision play for attracting visitors?
For the Surgeons’ Hall Museums in Edinburgh, attention to the detail of their visitors has helped them to vastly increase the number of visits to the venue and positive reviews over the past decade. So much so, that the museum grew from a venue that welcomed over 14,000 visitors a year to one that now welcomes over 75,000.
At this first Wednesday, you will learn:

About the Speaker:
David McLeod is currently a Marketing Executive at Historic Environment Scotland, having previously worked for Surgeons’ Hall Museums for over 9 years. Whilst at Surgeons’ Hall, David developed the museum’s marketing and social media. He is a founding member of the Scottish Heritage Social Media Group, and holds the post of Digital Officer on the Scottish Museums Federation Committee.
